Unless I’ve gravely misread the rates, each chapter is 49 点券 (apparently ac.qq’s currency system?), and it’s 5 yuan (78 cents USD) for 500 点券, so it’s not very expensive at all. Payment is sort of a pain unless you have something like QQ wallet/wechat pay (which are also hard to set up if you don’t happen to live in China/have international payment methods already set up), but I guess that’s to be expected. If anyone needs help navigating ac.qq’s website, let me know and I’ll try to help as well.
Such purchases can be done on the ac.qq page for Cupid’s Chocolates. The first 60 or so chapters are free for all to view, but any chapter marked with a coin image is paid-access only.
Alternatively, ebooks in volume format can also be found on amazon.cn. However, you will not be able to purchase them at all (or even view their product pages) if you sign up for amazon.cn with a US phone number (or, I’d imagine, any phone number not from China).
